The design task was to maximize the use of this very narrow lot, and to protect the client from seeing the often neglected vacant lot right next door. The Client also wanted to see the ocean from an upper deck connected to the Living Room and he wanted a street story to fit in the 25' limit height.

The solution was to reveres the uses placing low ceiling bedrooms at the bottom floors. Part of 2nd Floor and the top floor is used for day functions. Glass block allows light penetration towards the vacant lot and skylights and higher ceilings on the 3rd floor make the Day Areas very pleasant.
